There are a number ways to get involved with ACF @ UTK:
Each Monday night at 8pm, students and community members meet at the Knoxville Adventist School (KAS) gymnasium to play volleyball.
Come meet others at our Wednesday night dinners at 7pm. It’s a relaxed time to eat a home cooked meal and spend some time getting to know someone new or catch up with old friends.
On Friday nights at 7pm, we gather for worship. These times are designed to provide space to unwind after a hectic week, spend some time in Bible study, singing, sharing and praying to reconnect with God.
Sabbath School & Church
Saturday morning at 9:30am, Sabbath School takes place in the little house just west of the Knoxville First Church. The format of this time is typically a study and discussion of a book of the Bible or a topical study of the Bible. A church service follows at 10:45am in the main sanctuary. There’s potluck every 2nd Sabbath following the church service in the KAS gymnasium.
Small group studies are sometimes scheduled throughout the week to provide a more intimate time to study the Bible, get to know others, and spend time in prayer.
A variety of social events are planned throughout the semester such as Boomsday and camping trips. Check out the calendar for specifics and don’t forget to bring a friend!
